Early

• Notify Midwifery
• Notify Doula
• Remove rugs or cover flooring around birth pool and bed
• Clear off surfaces in bedroom
• Remove bedrail
• Cover headboard
• Prepare bassinet (wait to install)
• Make bed (mattress protector, postpartum sheets, waterproof layer, throwaway sheets)
• Inflate tub and install liner
• Turn up water heater temperature; set reminder to reduce postpartum
• Make/offer snacks for MOM
• Make/offer electrolytes and water to MOM
• Remind MOM to use bathroom
• Gather placenta photo props
• Thaw casserole and sourdough
• Make laboraide or other electrolyte drink
• Offer for MOM to use tub (can use Epsom salt)

• Fill tub (99-101F)
